Christopher's Big Day...

Kindergartener

Well, he's all grown up and that's it for me. No more mothering...lol. I know that's far from the truth and I still have several wonderful years with Christopher here at home with us. When your 5 1/2 year old goes off to Kindergarten for the first time and will be gone for 9 hours, it feels like forever. It also feels like someone else is raising your child. Oh, how I miss him! However, I do know that school has been and will continue to be a very positive thing in his life. Man, are we old enough for this? I still feel so young at heart sometimes and this feels a little surreal. I have had a lot of memories of myself in kindergarten come back to me today and I have to say that I am excited for Christopher.
We are so proud of you and love you very much, son!

Oh, BTW...don't even get me started about the untrimmed bush behind Christopher. Our yard men need a smack down. They must think they are "grass" men...key word here, "yard" and it's entirety.

I totally understand I didn't realize are kids were so close in age. The day lasted forever for me too and I miss Hailey so much but it is great for them and as parents it makes up all so proud.
